Your Role: A Senior Scrum Engineer leads Agile cadence across IT workstreams, ensuring active participation and clear communication. They remove impediments, manage the backlog in collaboration with Engineering Leaders, BRMs, and Business Stakeholders, and support documentation. Additionally, they drive multiple Agile teams through backlog refinement, planning, development, testing, and release, while supporting program-level planning and reporting to align with delivery goals.
Your work:
• Leads the Agile cadence activities within the Scrum framework, ensuring participation from team members and key stakeholders
• Facilitates discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution
• Removes impediments or guides the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel
• Develops and manages team-level and workstream-level release and sprint plans
• Monitors, reviews, and maintains the sprint and product backlog in coordination with Analysts, BRM and Business Stakeholders
• Develops internal and external communication strategies to improve transparency
• Maintains visual progress metrics and dashboards indicating velocity, burn-down, etc.
• Supports teams in adopting advanced Agile practices and mentors less experienced Scrum Engineers
• Coaches' teams in Agile practices and ceremonies to improve team maturity and performance
• Serves as a coach to other Scrum Engineers to support Agile adoption and delivery
• Ensure workstream-level metrics are produced on time and are available to all levels in the organization
• Review workstream-level metrics and provide fact-based insights into what is occurring across delivery; recommend changes to address issues.
• Partner with Delivery Leader to identify and support any delivery changes needed across the team
• Ensure all go/no-go processes are managed with Business and IT using factual metrics to support readiness decisions
• Holds all leads accountable for supporting monthly release processes
Required Experience, Education and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in business, MIS or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5 + Years of Experience in Agile Methodologies with a minimum of three years in the Sr. Scrum Master or Scrum Coach role.
• 5 + Years of Experience in Project management or software development management experience
• Experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Gamesal skills
• Expertise with agile methodology and frameworks inclusive SAFe, LeSS, etc.
• Expertise with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
• Demonstrated confidence and professionalism in approach.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles
• Ability to make decisions
• Ability to communicate your ideas and solutions in simple language (business jargon not needed) to your team, and executives

• 10+ Years of Experience in related professional experience
