Job Description: Import Specialist
Pay Rate: $17-$20/hr.
As an Import Specialist you will:
Drive continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes and reduce waste
Research and resolve any import and/or export broker exceptions
Maintain/update internal documentation for internal training and reference
Support Trade Compliance team with a variety of import/export related administrative tasks
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Transportation/Supply Chain/Operations
Strong Math, Logical, Problem Solving skills
Strong analytical abilities, and high proficiency creating and managing advanced models using SQL and Microsoft Excel
Analyst work background, or focus in higher education
Conceptual understanding of systems, and configuration management
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience or familiarity with basic international trade principles (e.g., imports, exports)
Extremely detail-oriented
Excellent reading and communication skills
Excellent MS Excel skills (e.g., V-LOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
Interest in pursuing a career in international trade
