Job Description:
Apex has an immediate need for a Data Architect & Technical Lead to lead the delivery of cross-functional analytic reporting solutions for a diverse set of internal business stakeholders and leaders. This role emphasizes ingestion of data from various platform sources, with a focus on building and optimizing reporting frameworks within Data Bricks & SAP DataSphere.
The Ideal Candidate will have the following:
- Understanding of multiple data platforms
- Architecture-level knowledge of data functions:
- ETL - ingestion - modeling - engineering - etc.
- Ability to mapdata hand-offs between a wide variety of systems & to navigate through nuances of various platforms
- Experience interfacing with internal IT teams &functional sources of data in security, infrastructure, etc., as well as experience providing offshore development teams with high-level direction
- Experience designing and creating road maps for enterprise reporting tools that are scalable
- Strong communication skills & abilityto communicate with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and offshore dev team

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of analytics, enterprise reporting solutions as the direct link betweenthe functional finance experts and the technical IT development teams
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on internal IT teamsto access and map data needed for analytic solutions.
- Act as lead liaison between the development team and business stakeholders, organizing the Product Team for multiple initiatives, including prioritization of work.
- Planning and anticipating technical needs of the delivery team, Refining the backlog for each sprint so the development team stays on track and knows exact expectations.
- Maintain proper communication cadence to hold business partners accountable and ensure successful delivery of programs.
- Surface and communicate risks while actively working to mitigate them.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on D&A systems.
- Lead efforts to modernize and standardize reporting processes, leveraging automation and advanced analytics techniques to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:

Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of Azure, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Bricks, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Data Sphere
- Experience building enterprise FP&A reporting
- Master data management and reporting.
- Report building and data shaping.
- Experience in building reports and understanding data flow.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel add-ons, SAP reporting, and spreadsheet-based user interaction.
