Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DoD Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Docker and Kubernetes implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Additionally, a strong background in automation, preferably with Python, and exposure to cloud platforms is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot containerized applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python to streamline deployment and operational processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize cloud-based solutions.
- Ensure compliance with DoD security standards and protocols.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members on containerization and automation best practices.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Document processes, configurations, and procedures for future reference.
- Able to maintain a secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Python for automation tasks.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of DoD security requirements and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Advanced certifications in Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with other automation tools and scripting languages.
