





Lead Compensation Consultant – Engagement for Compensation Delivery.
Job Description
About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Engagement Lead within the Compensation Delivery team of our Total Rewards function within Human Resources. This position will play a critical role in across HR, Communications, and Business Leadership to develop and execute engagement strategies that elevate the employee experience and promote excellence in execution of our compensation programs.
In this role, you will:
Lead compensation engagement initiatives and projects, mentoring peers and guiding teams to deliver clear, engaging, and impactful messaging aligned with Wells Fargo’s compensation philosophy.
Serve as a strategic advisor by partnering with HR teams and business leaders to design and execute engagement strategies for compensation programs.
Develop toolkits, presentations, and digital content to support year-end compensation reviews, cyclical programs, and manager enablement.
Measure and analyze engagement effectiveness using surveys, feedback loops, and data insights to continuously refine communication strategies.
Drive informed decision-making by applying knowledge of policies, compliance standards, and market trends, while clearly communicating rationale and impact to cross-functional teams.
Collaborate across the organization to ensure consistent messaging, shared understanding, and broad adoption of compensation initiatives.
Create clear, concise content that aligns with brand standards and resonates with diverse audiences.
Craft professional, tailored communications for executive leadership, often on short notice.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Compensation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with compensation principles.
Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering compensation engagement strategy that is clear, engaging, and promotes action.
Ability to analyze engagement or employee listening data and translate insights into actionable insights.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and educate stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate with internal partners, including legal, risk, and control.
Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00Benefits
