





Peabody Essex Museum is seeking 1 part-time Media Resource Assistant. This position assists with all aspects of providing audio visual services for museum wide programs and events (i.e.: films, lectures, live performances, meetings, member events, and symposiums). Major responsibilities include: coordinating the use of audio visual equipment by museum departments; operating audio visual equipment in a variety of museum venues; ensuring all audio visual equipment is in good working order by working with internal and external tech support; proactively work with museum staff to ensure smooth operation of AV equipment during scheduled programs and events; and working closely with the Media Resource team on special projects. Part-time associates must be able to work evening and weekend events.
Qualifications: A college degree in related technical field or the equivalent combination of education and experience; requires strong technical, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills; experience working with all types of audio visual equipment and computer presentation software; digital photography and videography skills a plus. The hiring range for this role is $19.53 to $21.24 commensurate with experience.
