Summary: The Implementation Account Manager is responsible for working with Clients, NFP Advisors, Account Executives and external partners to onboard new client accounts. The position requires facilitating a specified implementation process for identified prospects that have committed to becoming an NFP client. As one of the first impressions of our organization, the Account Manager must possess positive and professional verbal, electronic and other written communications. While in this role, this person will lead internal & external implementation-related calls and be responsible for all defined items surrounding client onboarding. They will focus on completing the implementation process for a client within the targeted timeline while working to effectively and efficiently transition the onboarded client to an assigned NFP Service Team.
The Implementation Account Manager will work with leadership and team members to further develop materials, resources, processes and related communications to enhance the process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop short-term relationships with clients to establish positive first impressions within their NFP client journey.
- Coordinate and lead the internal and external implementation calls related to each unique client’s onboarding experience.
- Take the lead in the creation of takeover letters and/or carrier specific implementation for enrollments occurring at time of new client onboarding.
- Act as liaison between Advisor and Shared Services Marketing Team, when rating and proposals are needed during the Implementation Process for a client.
- Collect and review contracts, benefit plan summaries, and carrier source documents for creation of client resources.
- Perform Membership Audit to identify any carrier corrections needed at the start of the NFP relationship
- Create NFP Connect Client Portal, Landing Pages or Benefit Guide Resources
- Set up Value Added Human Resource tools for client
- Create and backfill client files in accordance with office procedures. Responsible for establishing foundational client records
- Assist in beginning stages of NFP Compliance Team requests for Compliance documentations needed (when applicable)
- Assist in the beginning stages of NFP HR Tech steps to build benefit administration systems (when applicable)
- Distribute compensation disclosures (when applicable)
- Complete additional operational items as defined on the Implementation checklist.
- Populate Welcome Email Template to outline key steps completed and highlights of the Implementation process.
- Develop relationships with carrier representatives to better understand contacts, best practices, portal accesses and topics related to the onboarding process.
- Learn industry funding types and plan structures for foundational understanding of documentation needs and nuanced Compliance needs applicable to a client.
- Learn vendor/carrier products and services for foundational understanding of solutions available to new clients.
- Assist NFP Client Service Teams as back-up for similar responsibilities (i.e, landing page creation, document collection or Compensation Disclosures), when capacity is available and assistance is requested.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
- Knowledge of benefits administration, HealthCare Reform, industry trends, carrier products and services
- Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs
- Effective time management, organizational and decision-making skills
- Diligent follow up skills
- Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Commanding presentation and public speaking abilities
Education and/or Experience:
- Associates degree (or equivalent) preferred
- Client service and/or industry and product line experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
- License preferred but not required

The base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $70,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
