




Our financial services client in Charlotte, NC is looking for a Director of Product Management to lead the Servicing team within their Credit Cards division. This role will be overseeing customer experiences including payments, rewards, and account management within the mobile app and other digital touchpoints, partnering directly with the Head of Credit Cards to direct the strategic vision and roadmap of these product offerings. This is a full-time, salaried position that will be onsite 2-3 days per week.

-Familiarity with a Product Operating Model and the OKR framework
-Willingness to be hands-on throughout the product lifecycle
Director of Product Management Responsibilities:
- Lead the Servicing team, overseeing credit card experiences such as payments, rewards, and account management
- Work hand-in-hand with the Managing Director of Cards on all long-term strategies and product innovations
- Identify and drive strategic initiatives, staying on top of market trends and customer expectations, and bringing unique solutions to business challenges.
- Partner closely with cross-functional team members across design, engineering, operations, and analytics to ensure alignment, prioritization, and delivery across launches.
- Lead and mentor a team of 5,helping them grow in day-to-day product management practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, fostering collaboration that leads to smooth integration and implementations.
- Communicate status updates, strategic risks, key dependencies, progress against objectives, and wins to the team and leadership, serving as a critical voice to clarify strategy and amplify work.
Director of Product Management Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years experience working on financial digital consumer products; experience in financial services a must.
- Minimum of 4 years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated success in launching or running new products or experiences, with a relentless pursuit of execution details.
- Experience creating a product vision and strategy and aligning it across cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with a Product Operating Model and the OKR framework.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present at an executive level.
- Demonstrated ability to autonomously solve complex problems and carry solutions end-to-end.
- Extensive hands-on experience across the digital product development process: problem mapping, problem definition, exploration, requirements documentation, etc.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for the domain.
- Experience and passion for developing product managers.
