We are seeking a Lead for Data Platforms for day-to-day operations, support, and administration of our enterprise data platform ecosystem, including integration & ETL administration.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with enterprise data platforms, strong incident and service management capabilities, and a track record of working effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
The position involves individual contributor responsibilities for data platform administration and partnership with various stakeholders, such as data engineering, data governance, IT, and business leaders. The role requires close collaboration with these teams to ensure that data platforms and services align with present and future requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Platform Administration: Hands on administration of data platforms for integrations, data governance tooling, MDM, including Informatica (IDMC/MDM/Axon/EDC/IDQ), Azure ADF. Ensure effective integration and alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor platform performance and availability, proactively addressing issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, data governance, and business stakeholders, to ensure data platforms and services meet current and future needs.
- Innovation and Efficiency: Drive innovation and efficiency in data platform administration and production support processes, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience
Experience: 8 years' Experience in leading data engineering and cross functional team to implement scalable and fine-tuned ETL/ELT solutions for optimal performance. Experience developing and updating ETL/ELT scripts. Hands-on experience with application development, relational database layout, development, data modeling.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Demonstrable expertise in technical knowledge of data platforms, application lifecycle management, and standard operational support requirements (SLAs, SOPs, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of technical platforms and processes, including streaming data architecture, data warehouse management, Lakehouse architecture, ETL/ELT and data store patterns, CI/CD management, containerization, and orchestration tools (ADF, Airflow, Prefect, Control-M), and data integrations including Informatica (IDMC/MDM/Axon/EDC/IDQ)
- Effective in forging strong relationships with cross-functional partners including Data Governance & Architecture, Data Product, Analytics, and business stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Experience in strategic technology planning and execution, including user guides, use policies, user acceptance, and support/maintenance.
- Experience applying Agile, DevOps, or SAFe principles to large-scale data engineering initiatives.
- Knowledge of healthcare payers, providers, pharmacies, and community health businesses is preferred.
Salary Range: $113,616 - $225,654Salary Range Disclaimer

This compensation range is specific and considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilites of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business consideration.
