Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze consumer credit applications for auto loans.
Evaluate credit bureau reports, income documentation, collateral valuation, and other supporting materials.
Make sound credit decisions within established authority levels using both automated scoring systems and manual underwriting.
Communicate decisions and rationale clearly to internal partners and customers.
Ensure credit files are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory and company standards.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve application issues and provide recommendations.
Maintain awareness of risk and compliance requirements throughout the underwriting process.
Required:
2+ years of underwriting, loan processing, originations, or closing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in auto lending or consumer finance.
Familiarity with underwriting systems and tools.
Strong communication and decision-making skills.
Expectations:
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
Commitment to accuracy, compliance, and customer service excellence.
Position will be remote with a preference of proximity to our hubs in Chandler, AZ or Irving (Dallas), TX
