Our client is looking for an Technical Writer to join their team for a 12-month project. This is a hybrid position based out of Miami, FL (40 hrs/week). Candidates are required to work onsite Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday (M/F work from home).
Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and creative Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear and comprehensive documentation that supports compliance operations and enhances user understanding. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and process owners to develop job aids, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training guides, and process guides that meet the needs of end users and the broader user community. This position is hybrid in either Miami or Lake Mary, FL.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with SMEs, process owners, and end users to gather information for documentation.
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including SOPs, training guides, and process guides.
- Develop user-friendly templates and job aids that facilitate understanding and compliance.
- Participate in the development and management of the COP backlog in JIRA.
- Write user stories and ensure that documentation aligns with project requirements.
- Conduct reviews and revisions of documentation to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Engage with the user community to gather feedback and improve documentation quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a technical role.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Experience with creating user documentation for compliance operations.
- Ability to understand complex technical information and convert it into accessible content.
- Experience working with SMEs and process owners to gather and document requirements.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
