Responsibilities
State Farm’s Product Line Management Department is a place where interns complete customer driven strategic product development work on Business and Recreational products in a collaborative environment while gaining business skills and acumen. Interns gain the opportunity to provide meaningful impact through:
- Operating in a customer driven product management culture
- Synthesizing and drawing connections across internal and external sources and determining the implications for immediate and longer- term product strategy
- Prepares, plans, and presents long-term and short-term strategies as assigned
- Gains experience presenting complex ideas succinctly in order to influence alignment, strategic decision making and action
- Develops proficiency in leveraging problem- solving and execution frameworks and tools
- Assists in analyses of subjects such as return on investment, cost benefits, resource management, predicted to actual results, financial and expense performance comparison, and aligning results to measurement framework
Qualifications
- Seeking current rising college seniors (graduation date of August 2025 or later)
- Pursuing a major in Business, Accounting, Communications, Marketing, Insurance
- Impactful course work: Business; Data Analytics, Research Methodology
Internship Program Eligibility:
- To be eligible for the summer internship program, you must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program throughout the duration of the internship.
***Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization (e.g. H-1B visa) for this opportunity.***
What You Can Expect:
- Summer Internship Dates: 5/19/2025-8/1/2025
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week
- Due to the short duration of the summer program, it is an expectation that hired interns will be available for the duration of the summer internship with little to no disruption in work schedule.
- Pay: $22.00/hour. In addition, interns selected for our summer internship program will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend (minus applicable taxes)!
- Work Arrangement:
- HYBRID: Selected interns should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment. Please note that relocation benefits will not apply.
- Selected interns must reside within the continental U.S. for the duration of the summer internship.
