Job Description
Under the supervision of the Business Unit Finance Director, the Senior Specialist will support the goals of US Commercial team and growth of our company's Human Health business. The Senior Specialist will develop a deep understanding of their business area and participate in forecasting, budgeting, and financial evaluation activity.The Senior Specialist will work closely with cross functional teams, including marketing, sales, pricing, legal, compliance and corporate teams to evaluate business performance and leverage new technologies.

This position supports the US Pharma BU portfolio team and is based in Upper Gwynedd, PA.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the delivery of FP&A activities (Monthly Close and Reporting, Budget, Long Range Operating Plan, and other forecasts) for the diverse portfolio of Pharma BU, including evaluation of performance relative to forecast in close partnership with marketing, contracting and manufacturing.
- Maintain strict focus on compliance, ensuring integrity of reported financial results and forward-looking estimates by leveraging analytical models and research tools, contributing to an effective transition and ongoing support of forecast automation.
- Track and analyze on drivers of product performance (e.g. customer inventory and market demand assessments, market share, sales performance on a customer segment level basis). Assist with presentations of revenue results and forecasts.
- Partner with the demand planning COE to submit and present accurate demand plans, a critical stewardship activity.
- Support implementation of best practices to ensure forecasting accuracy and contribute to the standardization and simplification of portfolio-wide processes where possible.
Position Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business-related discipline
- Minimum 2 years experience in Finance / Accounting or business analytics role.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Strong compliance focus, financial acumen, analytical skills and knowledge of planning and reporting processes
- Desire to develop business acumen and provide strategic guidance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build diverse relationships
- Expertise in Excel, Power Point, Thinkcell and SAP and financial reporting systems
- Comfortable employing financial modeling methods and tools to collect, analyze, synthesize and validate financial data to identify issues and drive business decisions
- Ability to adopt and apply new technology, techniques, and ways of working in partnership with Digital Data & Analytics teams.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
