Full Job Description

Join us as we transform immunology and deliver medicines that help autoimmune patients get their lives back. argenx is preparing for multi-dimensional expansion to reach more patients through a rich pipeline of differentiated assets, led by VYVGART, our first-in-class neonatal Fc receptor blocker approved for the treatment of gMG, and with the potential to treat patients across dozens of severe autoimmune diseases.

We are building a new kind of biotech company, one that maintains its roots as a science-based start-up and pushes our commitment to innovate across all corners of our business. We strive to inspire and grow our company, our partnerships, our science, and our people, because when we do, we deliver more for patients.

The Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics will be a critical partner in delivering data-driven insights to support commercial strategy, planning, and execution. This role will collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic and tactical initiatives for both U.S. launches and pipeline assets. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical expertise coupled with a deep understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics and key business drivers. This position will report directly to the Head of Commercial Analytics and Insights.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively leverage diverse data sources and advanced analytics to monitor performance across key dimensions, delivering actionable insights that enable effective, data-driven decisions

  • Support US Indication Strategy Teams (IST) by analyzing key performance indicators - including demand, new initiations, conversion and discontinuation trends, and market penetration to inform strategic and tactical planning

  • Conduct ongoing and ad hoc analyses to uncover insights into market dynamics, patient journey, customer needs, and growth opportunities, enabling prioritization of investments and optimization of portfolio assets

  • Collaborate with Business Information Systems (BIS) team on data and analytics enhancement initiatives, ensuring streamlined operations, robust data integrity, and timely, accurate reporting

  • Partner with the Data Governance team to ensure consistent application of business rules, metric definitions, and standards across reporting platforms

  • Drive innovation by applying advanced analytics techniques, including data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and predictive modeling, to support impactful, data-driven business decisions

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven hands-on expertise in applying analytical and statistical techniques to large, complex datasets - preferably at the patient level, including statistical modeling, machine learning, and artificial intelligence methodologies

  • Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically to address complex business questions

  • Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights, and effectively communicate results through timely reports and presentations to cross-functional stakeholders

  • Delivers high-quality work with a strong sense of urgency, maintaining attention to detail and adherence to process without compromising efficiency

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented environment

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% as business needs require

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, or Life Sciences); advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum 3 years in analytics roles, with at least an additional 2 years in pharma/healthcare, emphasizing data-driven insight generation

  • Understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization, patient services, and distribution networks; experience in the rare disease space is a strong plus

  • Extensive experience working with pharmaceutical data sources (claims data, patient-level data, CRM, SP/HUB) and promotional activity data

  • Strong programming proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar languages, with the ability to independently build, test, and deploy data pipelines and analyses within environments such as Athena, Snowflake, or Databricks

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the proven ability to effectively engage cross-functional teams and translate technical findings for non-technical stakeholders
