Serve as a strategic business consultant in meeting regulatory requirements pertaining to analysis and reporting across the company. Engaging with stakeholders to ensure data quality, compliance with applicable policies, execution of controls, and management of regulatory items. Prepare management information and insights to guide decision making, evaluate financial performance and assist in strategy.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Experienced financial professional role that applies in-depth knowledge within own professional discipline and a deeper understanding of concepts and principles of the business to produce relevant financial analysis and reporting within regulatory reporting framework. Also supports reporting and analysis for additional constituencies, including Board of Directors, Investor Relations, and various regulatory agencies.
2. Collaborates and works across the Finance division to ensure integrity of the financial data and sound controls and procedures. Ensures that source data is reliable, complete and documentation is maintained to support data integrity initiatives.
3. Compiles, reviews, and submits timely and accurate reporting related to the company's financial performance and strategy. Updates and automates retrieval of financial information via the use of simple spreadsheets to more complex databases and reporting templates. Reporting may include regulatory interpretations, variance analysis and explanations for financial statement line items; or summaries, charts, and graphs of data to highlight key results. Interpret and summarize results and trends for Senior Leadership.
4. Conduct risk and control assessments to ensure the regulatory reporting function meets corporate standards that specifically relate to internal operating controls. Assist in updating controls, policies, procedures, and risk/control documentation. Manage and provide support for open risk, audit, and regulatory issues.
5. Applies knowledge of best practices derived from experience to assist in solving problems of higher operational or technical complexity by analyzing possible solutions using data analysis, experience, judgement, and precedents. Drafts materials to senior leadership summarizing issues and communicating solutions.
6. Subject matter expert on regulatory reporting requirements, business cycles and accounting flow for assigned area of responsibility. Maintains working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), building expertise related to assigned area of responsibility. Broadens understanding of more complex accounting, profitability, regulatory, and business segment nuances.
7. Maintains a strong working relationship with peers, management, regulatory governance and supported business area to complete tasks and deliver high quality work. Builds relationships with cross-functional departments to broaden knowledge and solve more complex situations.
8. Coordinate with internal and external audits and regulatory examinations. Assist in risk management governance and business continuity planning processes as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and related training.
2. Four years of relevant accounting or finance experience that includes complex financial analysis.

4. Ability to build consensus through communication and presentation of factual and relevant information.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

9. Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other basic software products.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, or Chartered Financial Analyst
2. Master's degree of MBA
3. Specific financial services or specialized industry experience.
4. Proficient in Essbase/Hyperion, EPM/BPC, or other enterprise accounting software.
5. Experience with macros/VBA.
