Responsibilities*
- Isolation of high quality human pancreatic islets
- Support, shipping, and QC efforts for islet cells within human pancreas lab
- Technical support of Endo-bh3 cell culture and human pseudoislet studies
- Molecular assays within the Soleimanpour lab on mitochondrial health
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelors degree required and 4-5 years experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted, including relevant undergraduate and graduate student experience.
Desired Qualifications*
- Masters Degree or Doctoral Degree desired but not required
Modes of Work

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act.
