Per Diem Nurse Practitioner

We are currently seeking a PsychiatricNurse Practitioner to join our team. This individual will work as a member of a collaborative treatment team to meet the needs of persons in early recovery.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough assessment and evaluation of client to determine best course of psychopharmacologic treatment relevant to the medical and clinical situation
- Work with the other members of the clinical team to develop and implement an individualized treatment plan
- Provide assistance or institute therapeutic intervention when needed, including referrals to appropriate emergency or psychiatric facilities
- Provide consultation with staff related to client treatment, program design, implementation, and strategic planning, and assist in the design and implementation of in-service substance use training curricula
- Keep abreast of developments in theory and research
- Participate in assessing community and agencys needs in the area of diagnosis and treatment
- Must be available for on-call coverage
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed in the state of New Hampshire
- Psychiatric AANP or ANCC certification
