Develop and manage reliability efforts and programs. Provide support for Plant Services by directing the programs and utilization of numerous reliability technologies comprising Reliability Based Maintenance philosophies of Preventive (PM) - Predictive (PdM) and Proactive Maintenance (PaM). A focus on reliability improvement utilizing a hands-on approach to evaluations ' repairs utilizing sound RCFA techniques to identify failure modes and establish solid improvements. - Implement the '3 P's' Preventive - Predictive - Proactive Maintenance.
- Utilize IR, VA, UT, MCA, OA, RCFA and other reliability technologies hands-on
- Equipment Commissioning - PM Evaluations/Development/Upgrade.
- Manage and where necessary establish technologies of Reliability as determined necessary and approved my manager.
- Lead ' Support Roles in Maintenance Departmental Training including Classroom and Hands-on
- Establishment of Maintenance Quality Programs in such things as component receiving inspection ' new equipment reliability and installation standards.
- Oversee technical mechanical PM and Repairs.
- Support energy and safety initiatives as well as process and building management systems as determined by Manager of Reliability Engineering.
- Provide Reliability support of all BIAH Facilities and Plant Services as determined by Manager including direction and management of selected programs and processes mentioned above.
- Perform other duties and projects to support the organization and BI as deemed appropriate and necessary for personal growth and the improvement of the organization as directed by management.
- Risk-Assessment in determining equipment reliability to meet facility and process needs.
- Leadership - In implementing Business Process Excellence through reliability technologies utilization and training of maintenance and engineering personnel as well as the educating of management and production groups in reliability technologies and methodology.
- Authority to make critical judgements and recommendations relative to the ability of the facility and equipment to support immediate specific production needs and the future needs of Plant Services to support the production process.
- Experienced and Educated in aforementioned technologies as well as the professional interaction skills to communicate and work as a team member with a diverse Company population.
- Budget development support and adherence
- Position will have the responsibility to support Plant Services to identify and implement the best reliability technology and methodology for the facility to provide for the facility design operational capacity.
- Position will report to the Manager of Reliability Engineering and work closely with the Facilities ' Capital Engineering staff and employees.
- Position will work within cGMP guidelines and support all activities to ensure a safe workplace and to protect the environment meeting or exceeding regulatory expectations.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years successful experience in the implementing and hands-on utilization or supervision of engineering/maintenance disciplines of reliability in a manufacturing environment and/or five (5) to 10 years of experience with a pharmaceutical manufacturer in engineering/maintenance
- Proficient in PowerPoint
- Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities
- BS from an accredited institution in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
