Job Overview
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 5:00am - 3:30pm
The ROC Parts Support Specialist is responsible for inventory and procurement, ordering, and distribution of parts and supplies needed by equipment services personnel within the regional operation center and territories supported by the regional operation center.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains responsibility for adequate inventory for the replenishment of parts used by ensuring proper inventory and procurement activities including but not limited to the ordering, and distribution of parts and supplies needed by the equipment services personnel
- Works efficiently and safely with technicians, technical managers, parts team, and outside vendors
- Assists the field network in the movement of parts from one inventory location to another
- Manages all data with a high degree of accuracy including gathering information with good problem-solving skills and ensuring parts line items on budget are accurate and account for any issues which may cause overages, shortages
- Maintains accurate parts inventory records and provides timely response to all special requests for materials and performs weekly audit counts
- Assists with the movement of parts from one inventory location to another by conducting quality control reviews on all outgoing shipments
- Coordinating shipments with parts room staff; maintaining all shipping records and providing records to management, preparing all bills of lading; and Daily use of Federal Express, UPS, and all other mail carriers
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Movement of steady walking, bending, and restocking items within the warehouse
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) SAP CONA related experience
- Ability to work independently or in team-driven settings
- Basic decision-making skills; problem-solving skillsets

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certified. Not a requirement in Union Market*
