Job Description

A Manufacturing Process Maintenance Specialist II will provide customer-oriented service and support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on manufacturing Filling equipment, Isolators, Vial Washers, Autoclaves, Parts Washers, and Automatic Vial Inspection equipment. This position requires a solid understanding of manufacturing systems including mechanical, electrical and control principles.This position will work a 2,2,3 schedule working the 12-hour shift from 6am - 6pm.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with Responsible Engineers and Manufacturing personnel to troubleshoot equipment problems.
Perform preventative and corrective work order maintenance.
Assists in troubleshooting mechanical problems and work with outside vendors to resolve recurring issues.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures in performance of assigned duties.
Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logbooks.
Work independently, with only general supervision and instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new assignments.
Navigate in a CMMS system to find and close out work orders * Schedules workload with planner.
Performs small projects as directed by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or related manufacturing environment OR
Associate's Degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or related manufacturing environment OR
Bachelor's Degree in related field.
This is a 12-hour shift from 6am - 6pm, once training is completed and you must be available to work nights.
This work requires occasionally climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces, moving/lifting test equipment up to 50 lbs. as well as working in clean spaces where gowning is required.
Ability to stand for up to 3 hours at a time is also required.
This role also requires overtime, off hours and rotating on-call to support customers.

Preferred

Knowledge and usage of hand and power tools to perform assignments preferred.
Knowledge of CMMS system
Knowledge of Lock-Out Tag-Out to energized systems
