Volt is immediately hiring an Machine Operator for a leading manufacturing company in Miramar!
As a Machine Operator you will:

As a Machine Operator you will:
- Produce machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine to produce parts and tools from metal, plastic or other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints & drawings
- Perform cleaning, deburring, and drilling to prep parts.
- Perform quality checks to ensure the product meets drawing requirements.
- Assist in the assembly of parts using drawing and hand tools.
- Utilize properly calibrated precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gages, thread gages, pin gages, and other measuring tools.
- Perform maintenance checks on machinery and equipment regularly.
- Disposes of scrap / recycled material into approved collection containers
- Other duties as assigned to support the production process.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- At least 6 months of experience operating industrial machines
- Preferred experience with Mills and Lathe CNC Machines
- 3-5 years of production work experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, squat, kneel, reach, and climb.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints/schematics/drawings
- Ability to write and communicate in English
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for long period of time
- Computer experience with Windows Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet.
- 2nd shift: 2:15pm to 10:45pm
- 3rd shift: 10:30pm to 7am

- Warehouse Work
- Assembly
- Manual Machines
- Drilling/Deburring
