Position: Jr. Project Manager
Location: Palm Beach County,
Duration: 6-12 month contract
Pay Rate Range: $40-45/hr
Project Description:
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of sprints, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Collaborate with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Track and report on team progress, identifying and addressing any impediments or blockers.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
- Support the team in maintaining and updating project documentation and tools.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of project status reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a Scrum Master or similar role, preferably within IT or finance sectors.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification is a plus.
