THE WORK
We are seeking an Instructor to support our Surface Combatant Training team. The team will be developing and conducting training for a localized industry partner in Saudi Arabia who will be responsible for the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) of the Royal Saudi Naval Force's (RSNF) newest ships, the Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC).

This position regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Considered an expert in field within the organization which includes curriculum development and instruction in support of classroom and shipboard training for the MMSC class of ships. Will be required to professionally interact with the MMSC customers and influence additional training support requirements.

This individual will support a multi-instructor and curriculum developer workforce providing curriculum development and instruction primarily for Saudi Arabian industry customers, and RSNF support personnel; develop new training materials, revise existing curriculum, plan and execute development tasks to meet key milestones, conduct formal training for internal and external customers, conduct instructor evaluations, and submit training reports. Additional responsibilities and special projects will be assigned as needed to support the organization.

This is a fast paced, challenging position for proven high performers and quick learners. The position supports tight deadlines on a frequent basis. Effective and independent performance in a supportive, diverse team environment is expected.

This is a remote position and requires the ability to work independently in a telecommuting environment. Team collaborations are done via phone and MS Teams, with occasional in person meetings that may require travel, depending on selected candidates' current location.

Requires Domestic and International travel on an as required basis to support meetings and training conducts. Domestic travel is estimated at not more than 25%. International travel is to be determined/as required.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $77,300 - $145,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $67,200 - $128,900. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
