Description:You will be the Industrial Engineer for the Lexington, KY area and must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Engineer embedded with a SOF GLSS Program Team; your duties will include:
* Use Lean Six Sigma tools and processes to develop cost lean processes.
* Use their knowledge of interpreting and reading engineering drawings to perform activities involving the producibility and quality of the product and the processes that directly improve fabrication and installation.

This position supports our Special Operations Forces - Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in industrial engineering or a related discipline. Entry level.
Desired Skills:
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Sap experience
TeamCenter Engineering experience
Production Operations experience
Experience with Lean Six Sigma practices
SOF GLSS contract, facility, and customer knowledge
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
