HR Director- Functions
As an HR Director at Honeywell, you will develop and own HR strategies for our Industrial Automation (IA) functions. You will partner with cross-functional teams and leaders to broker HR services and actively engage in staffing, organizational development, and talent management. Your expertise in HR will be crucial in aligning critical human resources principles with business objectives and driving organizational transformations and staffing strategies to promote talent and growth. This role will be apart of the Industrial Automation HR Leadership Team and you will report directly to our VP HR- ISC and Functions and you'll work out of our Houston, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the organization by driving organizational effectiveness, leading change, managing talent, building relationships and brokering services, acting as a coach and confidant, and providing administrative support. You will also lead training and development initiatives. YOU MUST HAVE
* Leadership experience with 10 years progressive Human Resources experience
* HR experience supporting various corporate functions such as (but not limited to) Engineering, Commercial, IT, Legal, Finance, and Strategy.
* Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time
WE VALUE
* Strong proven experience working with senior leaders
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline
* HR experience supporting a global workforce across multiple countries
* Master's degree or MBA in Human Resources or Labor Relations
* Experience with and working knowledge of HR laws, practices, policies, and models in a global environment
* Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization
* Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed global environment
* Ability to find the correct balance between demand and capacity when establishing priorities for the organization
* Ability to artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
