Objectives of this Role:

• Join project teams to research and develop new data analytics objectives for SwRI clients.
• Implement modern and traditional machine learning algorithms to solve novel problems.
• Summer 2025 Internship

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Apply state-of-the-art data science and machine learning software solutions for various artificial intelligent system applications
• Interact with team members to discuss technical solutions to problems
• Develop tools and techniques to improve our team's research and development capability.

Requirements:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelors or Graduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
• BS candidates must have relevant academic research and/or internship experience
• MS and PhD candidates must have completed some graduate work related to data science, data analytics, machine learning, computer vision, or artificial intelligence.
• Training in perception (computer vision/image processing, lidar, and/or radar) software solutions for various intelligent system applications
• C++, python, and ROS experience required
• A valid/clear driver's license is required
