JOB TITLE: Fleet and Equipment Senior Sourcing Specialist
JOB LOCATION: Waltham, MA (Hybrid)
WAGE RANGE*: $55-64/hr. W2

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Sr. Level Role

* Collaborate with other procurement departments in the organization to implement Fleet, Equipment and parts inventory improvements and ensure proper supply chain efficiencies
Manage and maintain an accurate directory of material storage warehouses, sites, and yards
* Negotiate with Fleet, Equipment, Inventory suppliers (long term) contracts for our warehousing, fleet, and other services
* Work with external Fleet, Equipment, Inventory parties to analyze current cooperation and further negotiate future cooperation and agreements
* Write Fleet, Equipment, Inventory procedures or instructions and maintain proper documentation
* Responsible for transport; warehousing may be added in the future (3PL)
* Analyze the current Fleet, Equipment, Inventory flows and processes, detect possible bottlenecks, and develop proposals to optimize them
* Responsible for evaluating the Fleet, Equipment, Inventory service providers (based on the SLA's) to work as profitably as possible but at the best service
Knowledge & Experience Required:
* Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S) required; in engineering, supply chain, finance, or business management, or other college degrees
* Automotive Garage Management, Business Consulting, Fleet Management, Inventory Management experience
* Preferred 3 years'+ experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations and vendor management. Strong working knowledge of ERP systems.
* An equivalent combination of education and extensive subject matter expertise along with procurement process experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education requirements listed above.
* The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, specifically in communications across a multi-national and matrixed organization. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in planning, project management, stakeholder engagement, and business analysis.
