The Executive Director, Commercial Data & Analytics is responsible for all areas within Commercial Insights & Analytics, Field Force Effectiveness and Operations and Data Strategy & Enablement, including, data analytics and insights, forecasting, market research, field reporting and incentive compensation, CRM and commercial data strategy and enablement for all therapeutic areas to support a $2b business.This role is a key member of the Commercial Operations team reporting directly into the VP Commercial Operations with the purpose of the role to drive operational strategies, processes, tactical plans, and decisions to ensure successful commercial and sales execution.
This individual will work closely with cross functional decision makers in the Biosimilar and Generics and Market Access BU's as well as Legal, ERC and P&O and other functions to drive commercial and sales operation success.

Position Location
This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ US Headquarters site. Our Sandoz flexible-hybrid working approach allows US office-based employees to work up to 50% of their monthly workdays remotely. This role will not have the ability to be located remotely. Preference will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Lead the Commercial Data & Analytics function with responsibility for establishing and maintaining the analytical and operational infrastructure to support and maximize sales performance the US Commercial organization
* Set a strategic vision for Commercial Data & Analytics as a critical business partner for in-line business, launch products, and business development opportunities; ensure team structure and talent are designed for both the existing and future business opportunities
* Oversee multiple commercial operational functions, including but not limited to: data analytics and insights, reporting, forecasting, market research, field reporting and dashboards, and incentive compensation, CRM and commercial data strategy and enablement
* Develop, deploy, and evolve strategies that provides data-driven, real-time insights into the operational effectiveness of the sales and marketing organizations across therapeutic areas
* Drive performance through teams by defining and cascading of strategic sales targets and performance program(s), and by establishing performance metrics, control mechanisms, and supporting systems
* Monitor for, identify, and act on opportunities to optimize performance against operational KPIs and efficiency
* Drive sales team effectiveness through territory planning, sales performance tracking, development and delivery of customer engagement
* Drive key Field Force Effectiveness and Operations analytical functions, including salesforce sizing, alignment, targeting, customer mapping, territory metrics, customer analytics, and incentive compensation
What you'll bring to the role
Essential Requirements:
Education
* Bachelor's degree in business administration or comparable discipline
Essential Qualifications:
* 15+ years of experience leading a Commercial Data & Analytics function within a pharmaceutical, diagnostic or biotech company with demonstrated mastery of analytical responsibilities
* Strong leadership, team building and organizational skills
* Proven ability to coach and develop staff as well as technical ability to coordinate functional business activities
* Change management and continuous improvement capabilities including experience in a matrix team environment
* Deep expertise in supporting customer-facing organization sales strategy and optimization efforts within multi-channel customers
* Extensive knowledge of industry data sources and data vendor management
* Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple millions of dollars of data and operations budgets
* Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to translate business goals into specific objectives
Desirable Requirements:
* Advanced degree (MBA, masters, etc.) or extensive high-level management training
Travel Requirements:
* Willingness to travel 10%

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $204,400 - 292,000 - 379,600 USD/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
On September 30, 2021, Sandoz entered into a 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement. Certain positions will have responsibilities to support the execution and adherence to CIA obligations, CIA-related deliverables, and any relevant audit, monitoring or Independent Review Organization (IRO) remediation.
