Riverside Research is seeking an Enterprise Technical Project Manager to assist in managing experimental data projects and documenting knowledge management policies for the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. This position will be part of a team of five providing support to the NASIC Chief Data Officer in developing and instituting enterprise data governance and management practices to support the Data, Analytics, & Assessment Division (A9D) NASIC data management strategy.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and advice to the vision, design, and oversight of complex projects focused on exploring data governance and management concepts
- Interview data owners to develop taxonomies and knowledge models that meet enterprise standards
- Collaborate with enterprise data leads, customers, developers, and other stakeholders to develop new enterprise level data management plans and workflow processes
- Identify opportunities for automation to improve processing and sharing of intelligence data. This may include, but not necessarily be limited to, identifying data models and standards to support object-based production; documenting enterprise-wide requirements for data edit, update and registration; developing transition plans from legacy data management to cloud-ready database solutions
- Support mission area system characterization case studies as directed by the government.
- Research leading edge concepts for data and knowledge management and recommend experiments to apply these concepts to NASIC data
- Advise government customer in the prioritization of activities
- Participate in planning activities such as release planning sessions and technical proposal reviews
- Produce communication materials (schedules, briefings, etc) to keep stakeholders apprised of projects
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current Top-Secret clearance with SCI adjudication
- Bachelor's degree in information science, computer science, engineering, library science, mathematics, or a related technical field
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team player
- 10+ years of experience in technical project management or systems engineering experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in creating and maintaining data guidance artifactsin the intelligence domain is an advantage
- Experience with intelligence production
- Experience with requirements documentation
- Master's degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field
- Understanding of agile software development concepts
Global Comp
$120,000 - $145,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.Closing Statement
