Job Description:
Truist Securities’ Financial Risk Management (FRM) Analyst Program begins with up to seven weeks of classroom instruction that consists of an introduction to capital markets, products and services, accounting, corporate finance, systems and financial modeling training designed to give Analysts all the tools they will need to be successful. After the classroom training, Analysts join the FRM product group and play a meaningful role in supporting senior capital markets professionals.
The Financial Risk Management Analyst program provides the opportunity to gain exposure to a number of disciplines within commercial, corporate and investment banking as well as capital markets. Analysts will sharpen financial analysis skills, develop an understanding of corporate markets and clients, and gain experience in corporate finance and with capital markets products through on-the-job training. Within each group, Analysts play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients.
Assignments will be within the Financial Risk Management groups, with the opportunity to interact with other groups and disciplines throughout Truist’s wholesale bank.
Financial Risk Management:
The Financial Risk Management team at Truist Securities is a product-oriented team that focuses on foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity derivatives. The team sits on the private side of the trading floor, interacts daily with bankers, traders and capital raising partners and provides hedging solutions to clients. The client set covered spans the full spectrum, from small cap regional clients to large cap publicly traded clients. FRM Analysts assist senior marketers by creating presentation materials, pricing hedge transactions, executing client trades, and providing commentary on current market conditions.
The Financial Risk Management Analyst position is typically a two-year position. At the end of the two-year period, Analysts may be asked to remain in the role for an additional year.

Truist Securities is headquartered in Atlanta, with offices throughout the U.S. in cities including Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, New York, San Francisco, and Washington D.C.
This Financial Risk Management Analyst role will be based in Atlanta and start in July of 2025.
Minimum Requirements:
Completed BA/BS degree with zero to three years work experience or currently enrolled with a graduation date of May 2025
Overall GPA of 3.0
Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
Superior written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
Preferred Requirements:
Business major
Strong interest in finance and investment banking
Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework
High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program
